Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using FirstCut Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

Account registration and eligibility

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use FirstCut Studio. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the service.

User content and ownership

You retain full ownership of all video content you upload to FirstCut Studio. We claim no intellectual property rights over your footage, clips, or rendered highlight reels. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and serve your content solely for the purpose of providing the editing service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use FirstCut Studio to:

• Upload, process, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to circumvent security measures, abuse the platform, or interfere with the service for other users.
• Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or misuse the service beyond normal usage patterns.

AI processing disclaimer

FirstCut Studio uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to analyze video content and generate highlight reel edits. AI-generated results are automated and may not always meet your expectations. We do not guarantee specific output quality, accuracy of scene detection, or suitability of the final highlight reel for any particular purpose.

Service availability

FirstCut Studio is currently in beta. The service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without any service level agreement (SLA). We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FirstCut Studio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of service, arising out of your use of the platform.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the service or other users. You may stop using the service at any time by ceasing to access it.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
